The Blackbird, I think it has to be my favourite garden bird. I’ve put this simple silhouette together of the bird’s familiar outline nestled down amongst fern foliage. The silhouette is created from an old map of Holmfirth and the surrounding areas with a dark blue background. Includes Holmfirth, Upperthong, Hepworth, Netherthong, New Mill, Slaithwaite and Lindley.
A perfect size for a small space or to sit alongside other artwork.
