The Arctic Tern has the longest animal migration on the planet, with an annual round trip of 22,000 miles you cannot be anything other than in awe of this majestic bird.

I am slightly obsessed with Terns, not only because of their incredible flying power but in silhouette they are so beautiful and they find their way so elegantly into my artwork.

This piece has been created with themes around climate change in mind, the fragility of our blue planet and the forces of the moon that move our seas and tides.

It has been created by incorporating handmade elements such as watercoloured papers, hand-drawn lines and painted textures — all combined digitally to produce this greeting card design.
